Workshop on Trauma Management with Cast Application - 5th March, 2000

The 5th workshop on Trauma Management with Cast Application was held on Sunday, 5th March, 2000 at the Orthopaedic Learning Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong.

Fifty nurses and doctors from thirteen hospitals attended the one-day programme which provided a great opportunity for them to exchange their ideas and share their experience.

The participants learnt the principles and management of cast application in the morning session. They practiced various techniques of cast application and removal in the afternoon session. At the end of the day, we watched a short video show of the workshop. All participants were very concentrated during the learning process. With this valuable experience and the thorough understanding of cast application, we can further improve the quality of trauma care for our patients.
