After the fruitful morning session, our honorable speaker demonstrated the proper technique in applying short arm slab, complete short arm Cast and short leg Cast. Then all the participants were being divided into six small groups to practice the technique of applying the POP/Cast. With the supervision of our Orthopaedic surgeons, all the applicants had made use of this valuable opportunity to polish their skill and also acted as patients to experience the feeling of being applied POP/Cast by the other health care profession.

The most exciting moment was the time to remove the POP/Cast. Quite a lot of the participants felt insecure and nervous when the other participants using the electric saw helping them to bivalve their POP/Cast. Indeed, it was a very good learning opportunity for us, as health care profession, to have a better understanding about the feeling of our patients.
