Objective
- To provide the basic knowledge on principles of wound healing
and surgical treatment of the trauma wound
- To increase the participants' knowledge on wound caring &
choice of dressing materials
- To refine the knowledge on hand dressing
- To provide an opportunity for practical experience and understanding
of required skills for boxing glove & debridement
Target Groups
- Nurses with 1-year post-graduate experience
- Preferably working in Operating Theatre or Orthopaedic-related
areas
- Priority will be given to member of AADO & Staff of the
Orthopaedic & Traumatology Unit or Orthopaedic Team in Operating
Theatre

- CNE Contact Hour: 5.5
- Award: Attendance Certificates will be issued on completion
of the workshop
