Trauma Management with Cast Application

Objective

  • To introduce and reinforce the knowledge and techniques on casting
  • To provide knowledge on the management of fracture with cast application
  • To increase the participants' knowledge on nursing management of patient with casting
  • To provide an opportunity for practical experience and understanding of skills in cast application through demonstration and hands-on workshop

 

Target  Group

  • Orthopaedic trainee, nurses, platser artisans
  • Surgeons Working in Orthopaedic-related Areas
  • Nurses with 1-year Post-graduate Eexperience and Preferably Working in Operating Theatre or Orthopaedic-related Areas
  • Operation Room Personnel Who Needs Working on Cast Application Including O & T Technicians
  • Priority will be given to AADO members & staff of the Orthopaedic & Traumatology Unit or Orthopaedic Team in Operating Theatre

 

Fees

  • AADO Member HK$500                                 
  • Non-member HK$1,000
  • Tea and Lunch included
  • Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

 

Accreditations                                                     

  • CME/ TP : 5 (TBC)  
  • CNE Hours : 7
  • Attendance Certificate (s) will be issued on completion of workshop
